Age of Innovation is a new game in the Terra Mystica line of games (see "Capstone Picks up 'Terra Mystica'"). In this game, players take control of a faction to attempt to terraform the world's terrain into a new homeland. They will compete to construct buildings and eventually build the area up enough to create large cities. Players can upgrade their buildings to gain resources such as Tools, Scholars, Money, and Power to accelerate their engine. They can also build schools to advance their scientific knowledge and collect books to create innovations.

The game box comes with 7 double-layered planning displays, 12 factions, 17 palace abilities, 18 innovations, and other variable game components. It is a standalone game that supports one to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. This game will retail for $99.99.
