Monte Cook Games will release Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game Core Book, a new RPG core rulebook, into retail on May 31, 2023.

This RPG is based on a popular eldritch horror fiction podcast produced by DeepNerd Media, which has thousands of fans. It allows roleplayers to delve into the world of Alternate Appalachia and create their own narrative adventures. The game is powered by Monte Cook's Cypher System, which recently began offering its CSOL to the public for game development (see "Monte Cook Games Announces Cypher System Open Gaming License"). This hardcover rulebook will be chock full of art and lore, giving players everything they need to explore the cosmic horror of this setting.
