Ravensburger announced that applications for its new Hobby Store Program (HSP), which will offer event support for their upcoming release of Disney Lorcana TCG, went live on Melee. The retailer applications were available as of Wednesday May 10, 2023 at 6 pm EST.

The HSP was designed to help retailers provide the best Disney Lorcana TCG play experiences for their customers by supporting organized play (see "'Disney Lorcana' Organized Play Program"). The applications for this program are being processed through Melee, an event operations platform that runs both online and IRL events ("People on the Move"). Retailers with a new or existing Melee account can apply to join this program if they meet a series of requirements laid out on Ravensburger's website. The criteria for joining the HSP includes the length of time a store has been in business, seating capacity, previous and current organized play activity, locations, and amenities.

The number of stores accepted into the HSP will be limited, and the deadline to apply is June 2, 2023 at 3:01 PM EST. This program is available in all regions where Disney Lorcana TCG will be sold. Alongside the HSP announcement, Ravensburger also revealed an image of the new Disney Lorcana TCG Organized Play Kit.
