The new booster set adds blue spirits to the mix, which have the power to destroy an opponent's deck. The set will also add new cards to strengthen existing decks from the other five colors. This set also has more different X Rares, increasing the total of that type from 12 to 14.
There are 272 total types of cards in this set: 48 commons (normal/holo ), 32 uncommons (normal/holos), 24 rares (normal/holo), 14 X Rares, 9 Special Rares, and a Saga Rare. Packs come with 12 cards and a token, and displays come with 24 packs and a box topper.
Bandai also recently revealed Battle Spirits Saga: Lore Set 1, a new boxed set (see "'Battle Spirits Saga: Lore Set 1'").
