Asmodee's Mixlore studio announced Bridgerton: The High Society Game, a card game based on Shondaland's Bridgerton series that streams on Netflix. The new game will hit Walmart on August 1, 2023 and then, the global market later in the year.
In this card game, players dance with eligible prospects and discover their best match. The matches are based on prestige, desirability, and love. The goal of the game is to secure the best marriage proposal by the end of the game, and earn more points than the other players. Characters from the show are depicted in original artwork on the cards, which will appeal to fans of the show.
Bridgerton: The High Society Game is for three to six players, ages 16 and up, and plays in 30 minutes.
Asmodee and Netflix previously teamed up to adapt Ozark, Squid Game, and Stranger Things into new games (see "New Licensed Games").
