IMAGE_2}Exploding Kittens launched Kitten Games, a new line of game for kids, which will initially hit Target on July 30, 2023.

The concept of the Kitten Games line was created by the Exploding Kittens' CEO Elan Lee and his 4-year old daughter Avalon out of a need for more games for preschoolers to play. Lee explains what led the creation of new line:

“When we played the standard games for my daughter’s age group, she would get distracted, she wasn’t learning anything, and I was getting bored,” said Lee.  “So we used paper, markers, and stickers to make games we both loved to play.  Kids won’t be kids forever, so we didn’t have any time for bad games!”

The new line kicks off with four games:

• I Want My Teeth Back.  Players are out to collect missing teeth by strategically deciding when to spin a wheel; the first player to collect a mouthful's worth of teeth wins.
• Hurry Up Chicken Butt.  This game was inspired by Hot Potato, and includes silly challenges and chicken-shaped shaker that clucks.
• The Best Worst Ice Cream.  Players create odd ice cream flavors like pizza, eyeballs, and earthworms.
• My Parents Might Be Martian.  This is a junior version Poetry for Neanderthals (see "'Poetry for Neanderthals'") where adults describe a secret word using only one-syllable clues to the kids’ team.

These games will range in price from $14.99 to $19.99.
