Triqueta is a competitive game where players try to collect exactly three identical animal tokens of each type of animal. The set, once collected, will form a Triqueta, an ancient symbol with three interlaced arcs. If players collect more than three tokens of an animal, they will lose points at the end of the game. This game was designed by Ralf zur Linde and Stefan Dorra, and features Celtic-inspired illustrations by Annika Hellar to enjoy in this short, but deep game.
The game box comes with 60 animal tokens, 5 row markers, 3 tree tiles, a starting rock, and a rulebook. It is for two to five players, ages 7 and up, and plays in 20 to 20 minutes. This game retails for $29.95.
Pegasus Spiele also recently revealed three Istanbul games (see "Three 'Istanbul' Games").
