Created by Nicholas Cravotta and Rebecca Bleu (Escape the Room), Goats’ Day Out asks players to help goats run amuck in town after escaping from the petting zoo. Their goal is to eat as much as they can before they are rounded up and taken back to the zoo. The players need to be strategic about what they feed their goats to make sure there is enough room for everything in their bellies, by selecting puzzle-like tiles and making them fit on their goat boards.
Goats’ Day Out comes with 5 goat boards, 108 item tiles, 5 score trackers, 1 scoring board, and 5 street trays. Intended for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 and up. MSRP is $19.99. Meet MahJong is an introductory version of the traditional tile-based game of MahJong created by designer Cara Weiss and cultural consultant Sen-Foong Lim. The game helps players explore the history of both the Chinese and American versions of the game and offers the basic rules and tiles needed for play. The game includes 2 sets of game boards (for Chinese- and American-style play), 4 player screens, 178 tiles, 4 win tokens, and 2 sets of instructions. Meet MahJong is intended for 4 players, ages 8 and up. MSRP is $29.99.ThinkFun’s Disney WordARound released earlier this year (see “New Disney-Themed Games Announced by Ravensburger”).
