The Dragon Ball Super CG Fusion World features a super-aggressive card game experience which is enhanced by two systems of mechanics in the game. The first mechanic added in Awaken, which is triggered when a leader's life is halved. It accelerates their ability to do battle in a tight situation. The other mechanic is called Combo. It allows Leaders and their friends to combine powers to deliver a final blow to an enemy. Decks for the new series consist one Leader card and 50 to 60 Battle and Extra cards.
This will have a booster set and four different starter decks. The starters will feature Son Goku, Vegeta, Broly, and Frieza, and retail for $11.99. These starters will hit stores on February 16, 2024. The first volume of booster packs, entitled Awakened Pulse, will retail for $4.49 and release on February 23, 2023.
Bandai recently revealed Flanked by Legends, a new booster set for One Piece CG (see "'One Piece CG' Set").
