Dark Horse Comics has announced a new 10th anniversary edition of the Eisner Award-winning graphic novel The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story, by writer Vivek Tiwary and artists Andrew C. Robinson and Kyle Baker. The 184-page paperback will have a new cover by Christopher Brunner and Rico Renzi and will include a new introduction by Pearl Jam’s music manager, Kelly Curtis, a playlist compiled by Tiwary, and a larger sketchbook section that includes Brunner and Renzi’s notes on the cover, in addition to the original introductions by Billy J. Kramer and Andrew Loog Oldham. The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story (Anniversary Edition) will go on sale in bookstores on November 21, 2023, and in comic shops on November 22, with an MSRP of $24.99.
The Fifth Beatle is a biography of the Beatles’ manager, Brian Epstein, who helped propel the band to fame (see “Review: ‘The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story’ TP”).
