CMON launched preorders for Assassin's Creed RPG, a new RPG based on the popular video game series by Ubisoft.
The new RPG allows players to immerse themselves in the world of the Assassin’s Creed video games. Game sessions can take place anywhere in time, from the ancient world to the modern day, as the battle between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templars continues endlessly. This RPG was designed by Max Castellani and Andrea Macchi, who did Brancalonia (see " Two Italian Roleplaying Games"), alongside The One Ring designer Fancesco Nepitello to replicate the atmosphere and setting of the original video game.
The game, thus far, will feature three rulebooks. The core rules are contained in the Animus Handbook: Hardcover Core Rules (MSRP $40), and the setting rules can be found in Forging History: Hardcover Campaign Book (MSRP $35). The Legacy of the Brotherhood: Hardcover Master Assassins Book (MSRP $30) fleshes out character rules and adds new adventure hooks. There will also be a GM's screen, accessory pack, and miniatures collection box for the game as well.
