This game has been renamed, updated, and moved over from the Z-Man Games to Pretzel Games since the original announcement of its pending release (see "'Challengers! 2'"). The new name of the standalone will be Challengers! Beach Cup. It is an auto battler that features deck management gameplay, much like the Kennerspiel des Jahres award-winning original (see "Spiel des Jahres 2023 Winners Revealed "). The new standalone has a solo mode, and comes with 7 new sets and over 100 new cards. This game also includes a Master Trainers expansion for an added challenge.
Challengers! Beach Cup will release on October 6, 2023 into U.S. retail.
