Marvel will introduce two new characters, Power Man and Moon Knight Unending, in the one-shot Timeless #1, which will set up a new story in the world of Moon Knight following the death of that character (see “Marvel Announces the Death of Moon Knight”)

Moon Knight’s last seconds will occur in Moon Knight #30, slated for December 13, 2023, at the culmination of a battle between Moon Knight and his allies, the Midnight Mission, and the Black Spectre and his minions. The story won’t end there, however, picking up in Vengeance of the Moon Knight #1, due out on January 3, 2024, with the members of the Midnight Mission regrouping and preparing to face a new enemy. Vengeance of the Moon Knight #1, by the current Moon Knight creative team of writer Jed MacKay and artist Alessandro Cappuccio, will include a main cover by David Finch, a foil cover by Cappuccio, and variant covers by Greg Capullo and Frank Miller.

Before that, Marvel will set the stage for the next installment with a one-shot, Timeless #1, which will introduce two new characters, The Moon Knight Unending, described as “a nightmare born of StarkTech, the Eternal Machine, and the God of the Moon,” and Power Man, whose origins and motivation are mysterious. Timeless #1, by a creative team that includes writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artist Juann Cabal, will be released on December 27, 2024 with a main cover by Kael Ngu, gatefold wraparound cover by Alex Ross, a spoiler variant by Felipe Massafera, a nightmare variant by Peach Momoko, and additional variants by Inhyuk Lee, Ron Lim, and Miguel Mercado.
