Boonlake, designed by Alexander Pfister, was originally released in 2021 (see "'Boonlake'"). The expansion, Artifacts, adds a new Lake board to the game. This board gives players more options to gain bonuses and points throughout the game as well as the ability to build a shipyard to unlock powerful artifacts. The expansion also comes with over 50 new Project cards that add more strategies to the game (the original game is required to play the expansion).
