Wizards of the Coast announced the location for MagicCon Chicago, an event for Magic: The Gathering, which will take place on February 23-25, 2024.

The event will take place at the McCormick Place Lakeside Center, 2301 S Martin Luther King Dr. in  Chicago, Illinois.  Along with the event location, WotC also announced the new promos available for the event.  A new Counterspell promo card will be included with badge purchase.  There will also be new prize cards for the Secret Lair Showdown, an event which is making its return at MagicCon Chicago.  These cards include a Spell Pierce, a Murktide Regent, and a Dark Ritual.  Also, MagicCon attendees can receive a promo art Ponder card for every $150 they spend in a single transaction at the Official Show Store.

Wizards of the Coast also recently announced other stops on the MagicCon Schedule for 2024 (see "MagicCon Schedule 2024 Unveiled").
