Drawing on the 2022 CloverWorks anime series about the socially awkward would-be rock star Hitori Goto and her friends, the Bocchi the Rock! set introduces new characters and scenes to the game. The Trial Deck was designed with new Weiss Schwarz players in mind, and can be played out of the box or combined with the Booster Pack cards. The Trial Deck includes 50 cards, with a total of 20 different card types and 20 parallel cards randomly inserted into the decks. Each Trial Deck also includes a “shiny” card, with 19 possible embossed RRR rare cards and 1 type of hot-stamped SP card. Also included is a rules sheet, playmat, and deck manual. Packed 6 decks per display.
The Bocchi the Rock! Booster Pack set features a total of 100 different cards with 100 parallel cards including voice cast signature cards inserted into random packs, featuring Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori Gotoh), Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika Ijichi), Saku Mizuno (Ryo Yamada), and Ikumi Hasegawa (Ikuyo Kita). The cards will be packed 9 per booster, with 16 packs in each display and 18 displays per carton. Each display will feature one of four possible PR box topper cards, and each carton comes with an exclusive stitched playmat.
Bushiroad is also offering a Tournament Store Assist PR Pack to support the launch. Available only through tournament-registered stores with the purchase of a booster pack display, this pack features one of four “shiny” PR cards.
Bocchi the Rock! follows other music-themed Weiss Schwarz sets releasing in May (see “‘Bang Dream! It’s Mygo!!!! Trial Deck Plus’ Incoming” and “Bushiroad Will Release ‘Bang Dream! Girls Band Party!
