Marvel Comics was ready for the reveal of the Deadpool & Wolverine teaser during the big game earlier this month (it was the most-viewed movie trailer of all time), and have now announced that the characters will appear in an ongoing set of back-up features in multiple titles in the Marvel line this summer, in addition to a three-issue miniseries.

The back-up features, titled Weapon X-Traction, will kick off in Incredible Hulk #14, which streets in July, with no increase in the issue’s price.  Subsequent episodes will appear in another seven Marvel titles throughout the summer. The story is written by Ryan North with art by Javier Garron.  The characters encounter each other at a favorite watering hole and proceed to battle zombies, gun-wielding librarians and each other across the multiverse.

Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIII, a three-issue miniseries written by Joe Kelly with art by Adam Kubert, launches on May 1.  In the story, the mysterious Delta sets his sights on Deadpool, and Wolverine is caught up in the plot.

The movie teaser (see "’Deadpool & Wolverine’ Trailer") dropped on February 11 and garnered 365 million views in the first 24 hours, according to Deadline, making it the most viewed trailer of all time.
