Fantasy Flight Games has announced that the second set for Star Wars Unlimited, its new Star Wars TCG, will be titled Shadows of the Galaxy, planned for July release. The new set takes the action away from Rebel-Empire conflict to the Outer Rim, with a focus on bounty hunters.
Like the first set, Shadows of the Galaxy will be released with a pair of two-player Starter Decks, which includes over 250 cards, and booster packs. The Starter Decks will be themed around Moff Gideon as the leader in a Vigilance and Command deck; The Mandalorian is the leader in a Cunning and Vigilance deck.
The new set will introduce three new mechanics: bounties, capture, and a third to be revealed later.
New cards will include the Phase-III Dark Trooper, Gideon’s Light Cruiser, and the Grogu Unit Card, which enables players to exhaust an enemy’s unit.
The first set released March 8 (see “’Star Wars Unlimited’ Deets”).
