R. Talsorian Games will release the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit, a new standalone box set and starter kit for Cyberpunk RED, this summer.  Set in the aftermath of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit includes “The Jacket,” a full mission flowing out of the show’s finale. 

The box features multiple resources for both new and veteran players, includes three books totaling 120 pages, pregenerated characters, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners-themed dice, maps, standees, and more.  The rule book included in the set is what’s needed to play through the kit, but is not a core rulebook in itself. The rules are fully run with the existing Cyberpunk RED system.

Game materials include Lore and Backgrounds for Night City and the Edgerunners Crew; rules for Quickhacks, Power Weapons, Tech Weapons, and Smart Weapons; new cyberware including the Gorilla Arms, Mantis Blades, and Monowire.

Other special content includes seven new Edgerunners drawn by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime director Hiroyki Imaishi and a timeline from the Time of the Red to the 2070s.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit is due for release in Summer 2024, at a $35 MSRP.

Monster Fight Club plans to release a Cyberpunk Edgerunners miniatures board game later this year (see “MFC Plans ‘Cyberpunk Edgerunners’”).
