Square Enix will release Final Fantasy TCG: Hidden Legends, a new set that includes cards from Final Fantasy XVI and introduces a new mechanic, this fall. The set is the third in the Final Fantasy “Hidden” series; Final Fantasy TCG: Hidden Trials will be released in August (see “New ‘Final Fantasy TCG’ Set”).
The new set will introduce a “Priming” mechanic, and add multi-element Limit Break Cards to extend the boundaries of the Limit Break system. A very rare autograph card featuring Final Fantasy XVI character Clive will be foil-stamped with the signature of illustrator Kazuya Takahashi, who created the key art for the set.
The box-topper is Ifrit (XVI). Legacy Cards, full-art versions of previous Legend cards, in this set include Minfilia, Akstar, and Unei.
The set includes 126 Normal cards, and 160 Premium cards, of which 32 are full art cards, one is a Special Card, and one is a Crystal Card.
