Vault Comics will launch a new imprint for mature readers, under which it will publish "spicy comics for adult readers," focusing on Vault’s core genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, the company announced. The new imprint, Threshold, will launch with Lilith, a sexy horror series written and drawn by Corin Howell, who created and popularized the character on her social media accounts, where the images have drawn millions of likes (27,900 Instagram followers). The series features colors by Warnia Sahadewa, letters by Jim Campbell, ad design by Tim Daniel.
The character of Lilith has been banished from her home planet, which resembles hell. She is posing as a model and secretly preying on humans when she encounters Penelope, a bookstore owner (and possible love interest) who has a tome that might help her return to her home dimension.
The first issue, which will street in August, will include variant covers by Jae Lee, Tula Lotay, Zoe Thorogood, Angela Wu, and more.
