SPIEL Essen organizers have announced that they have sold out of exhibitor space for their 2024 convention, which will happen from October 3-6, 2024.
This is the first time that SPIEL Essen will fill six exhibition halls at the Merz Verlag with exhibitors. The additional booth space sales have been attributed to exhibitors wanting more space for their booths and more new publishers buying space.
“We knew quite early on that it would be fuller than 2023," said Carol Rapp, Managing Director of Organizing Merz Verlag. "But just before the deadline, we received a large number of registrations.”
This will also be a record for the square footage occupied by the fair, which will be approximately 737,629 square feet (converted from square meters). Last year, SPIEL Essen drew in over 190,000 visitors (see "Biggest Event Ever").
