Marvel Comics' latest X-Men comic is a webtoon: It’s a vertical-scroll comic (Infinity Comic) designed to bridge the gap between the current X-Men continuity and the upcoming From the Ashes era. X-Men: From the Ashes, by writer Alex Paknadel and artist Diogenes Neves, started running on the Marvel Unlimited digital service on June 5, 2024, and will be updated weekly, with new episodes appearing on Mondays through the month of August.
Marvel will relaunch the X-Men this summer under the banner of From the Ashes, with three "core" X-Men ongoing series and others featuring individual characters and teams (see “Marvel Announces Two More ‘From the Ashes’ Titles”). The X-Men: From the Ashes Infinity Comic starts after the fall of Krakoa in X-Men #35 and leads in to the first issue of the new event, X-Men #1 by Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman, which will launch on July 10.
