Exotic Cancer revealed Nightshift, a new exotic dancer board game, which is currently fully-funded on Kickstarter with an expected delivery date of March 2025.
This game is inspired by the creator's (Caitlin, a.k.a. "Exotic Cancer") real life experiences working as an exotic dancer. The creator also has an Instagram following of 623,000 followers and started out their publishing and illustration careers with a book called Shit Men Say at Strip Clubs. In this game, players take on the roles of one of five different dancers and try to work the club by charming money out of customers. Players can use their Action Points to meet new customers, each of which has different wealth and loyalty levels.
The goal is for players to use their exotic dancer abilities and a few drinks to persuade customers to give them more of their time in the Private Room or VIP Room, all while without breaking the illusion. As in most clubs, strange events can occur. Players can also use the Stage to acquire extra Tips and Power cards. The player that ends the night with the most money wins the game.
This game can be played in competitive, cooperative, and solo modes, and is for one to five players, ages 18 and up, and plays in 40-90 minutes. As of the publication of this article, the Kickstarter campaign for this game has raised approximately $361, 686 (converted from AU) from 3,219 backers (about $112 per backer).
