Mind’s Vision has announced Fibonachos, a card game that combines math concepts with Mexican cuisine designed by Jordy Adan (Cartographers, Stonespine Architects).  Fibonachos will release on September 27.

Fibonachos is a trick-taking card game in which players must follow suit as expected, but trumps are activated based on the well-known Fibonacci sequence of numbers.  The numbers of the Fibonacci sequence can also influence the game’s final score, forcing players to be more strategic about how they take their tricks during the game, rather than focusing entirely on winning as many tricks as possible.

The game is intended for 2 to 5 players, ages 14 and up, and takes about 30 minutes to play.  It includes 51 “Nacho” cards, 15 “Spicy” cards, and 5 player aids.  MSRP is $21.95.

Fibonachos will release about a month after Mind’s Vision launches The Legacy of Cthulhu role playing game (see “Mind’s Vision Will Release ‘The Legacy of Cthulhu’”).
