The new core rulebook is another addition to the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG line that launched with a unique starter set (see "'Final Fantasy' Tabletop Game Line"). The new book contains the core rules for creating and playing an adventurer within this rich fantasy world. It has a guide that offers information about the realm of Eorzea as well as character creation rules for each of the 13 playable jobs in the game. This guide also builds on the starter set by adding advanced rules and three original scenarios to play through.
