Lucasfilm and Marvel Comics announced Fear of the Jedi, the Phase III finale series of Star Wars: High Republic, which will go on sale in February 2025.
The Star Wars: High Republic publishing series was introduced back in 2020 (see "Coming in 2020") with the comics eventually making their way to market in 2021. The stories for this series explored the Star Wars galaxy as it was 200 years prior to the events of The Phantom Menace, and were released in three phases across multiple platforms.
The comics wrap up with an ongoing series penned by New York Times best-selling author Cavan Scott, who also wrote the first comics in the High Republic series. In the new book, the fighting within the Nihil Occlusion Zone intensifies, and Jedi Master Keeve Trennis has been set upon a life-changing path during this struggle. This comic also guest-stars The Acolyte’s Wookiee Jedi Master, Kelnacca, and other fan-favorite characters from Star Wars: The High Republic novels, audio dramas and comics.
Artwork for this comic series was rendered by Doctor Aphra's Marika Cresta with cover art by Phil Noto.
