Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro have announced a middle-grade original graphic novel series, Transformers: Worst Bot Ever. The creative team will be writer Brian "Smitty" Smith, creator of the early-reader series Pea, Bee, and Jay (see "Kids Graphic Novels"), and artist Marz Jr., the cover artist for Void Rivals. The first volume, Transformers: Worst Bot Ever: Meet Ballpoint, introduces the title character, who is kicked out of the Decepticons for his incompetence and attempts to prove himself by battling the Autobots. The graphic novel will be released in comic shops on July 9, 2025, and in the book and digital channels on July 22, 2025, with an MSRP of $12.99.
Paramount recently released a new trailer for the Transformers One animated film, which will premiere on September 20, 2024 (see "'Transformers One'").
