The Hero Initiative, which helps comics creators who are having medical or financial problems, is teaming up with DC Comics for the Superman 100 Project. In 2023, at the request of the Hero Initiative, 100 artists sketched on the blank cover of Superman #6. The roster of artists included Alan Davis, Kevin Eastman, José Luis García-López, Dan Jurgens, Ed McGuinness, Frank Miller, and Frank Quitely, and the Hero Initiative is now publishing the covers in book form. The Superman 100 Project, will include all 100 covers as well as bonus material and is being published both as a trade paperback and a limited edition hardcover, with the latter available directly from The Hero Initiative and Third Eye Comics. Both editions are slated for release on December 18, 2024.
The original art will be sold at auction beginning in October 2024.
