Rio Grande Games will release 7 Empires, a new historical strategy board game by Mac Gerdts, into retail in January 2025.
In this game, players will attempt to manipulate policies of the seven old Empires in order to gain control of 18th century Europe. The seven Empires of this era, that players will try to gain political and military influence over, are Great Britain, Kingdom of France, Kingdom of Prussia, Russian Empire, Habsburg Empire, Ottoman Empire, and Kingdom of Spain. Players will need to develop strategic plans and forge alliances in order to tackle the challenging decisions in this game. In the end, only one player will reign supreme over Europe.
7 Empires is for two to six players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 90-150 minutes. It will retail for $69.95.
Rio Grande Games will also release Outpost, a new Power Grid board game (see "Colonize a New Planet in Next 'Power Grid' Game").
