Japanime will release its second game tied to the One Piece manga and anime, One Piece: Assault on Marineford, in 2025.
The new game allows players to relive an epic battle from the One Piece saga between the Marines, who have captured Ace and plan to execute him on Marine Ford Island, and Whitebeard, who has assembled a fleet of pirates to rescue his son. Players can join the pirates and try to find the key to Ace’s handcuffs and free him; or the Marines in their efforts to eliminate Whitebeard and Ace. To win, players must achieve mission goals or have the most characters on the board at the end of the game.
One Piece: Assault on Marine Ford is for 2-6 players ages 7 and up and plays in 30 minutes. It will street on January 22, 2025 at $24.95 MSRP.
Japanime will also release the card and dice game One Piece: Adventure Island on January 22 (see "’One Piece: Adventure Island’").
