New York Comic Con kicked off on Wednesday, October 16, with a special event for retailers, then continued for another four days. Cosplayers, comics fans, and collectors filled the multi-level event, from the dedicated cosplay area in the fourth-floor River Pavilion to Artists Alley on the lowest floor.  Here's a look at the first few days of the show in pictures.
