Steamforged Games has teamed up with Free League Publishing to release two Epic Encounters: Ruins of Symbaroum sets into retail on February 18, 2025.
These two new adventure-in-a-box sets, tailored to the Symbaroum setting (see "'Symbaroum'"), come complete with miniatures, maps, and detailed encounters. The first set, entitled Gem in the Barrow, sends players off to explore the Titan mountains in Ambria. The second set, The Corrupted Coloss, has players face off against titanic Coloss. Both sets offer Symbaroum players gripping narratives and an immersive roleplaying experience that Epic Encounters is known for.
“It’s a privilege to work with Free League on the creation of these sets, bringing the dark world of Symbaroum to the tabletop in a new way," said Mat Hart, co-founder and COO of Steamforged Games. "Working with Mattias Johnsson Haake, Symbaroum’s lead designer, has been a fantastic experience, and we think fans of Symbaroum both new and old are going to love what we’ve created."
These two sets are currently on preorder. Gem in the Barrow will retail for $59.99, and The Corrupted Coloss will retail for $59.99.
