Japanime Games revealed Lupin the 3rd: The Italian Adventure and Black Clover: Star Festival, two new anime board games, which will hit retail in February 2025.
In Lupin the 3rd: The Italian Adventure, players navigate the Italian landscape using their wits, gadgets, and a bit of luck. They will roll dice to create a plan outwit their rivals and make an escape with a pilfered gem. However, they will have to watch out for Inspector Zenigato as he can bring the caper to a halt. This game is for two to five players, ages 14 and up, plays in 45 minutes, and will retail for $44.95.
Black Clover: Star Festival has players take charge of Magic Knights that are competing for glory and honor. Players take on the roles of squad leaders, and command their team through a series of challenges and quests seeking stars. They must balance risk against reward to emerge the victorious squad at the Star Festival. This game is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, plays in 90 minutes, and will retail for $49.95.
Japanime will release its second game tied to the One Piece manga and anime, One Piece: Assault on Marine Ford (see "New 'One Piece' Board Game").
