Chaosium will release Pendragon Gamemaster’s Handbook, by Greg Stafford, in early 2025.  After getting the rights to the game back in 2018 (see “Chaosium Acquires Stafford Game Rights”), Chaosium released a Core Rulebook, The Grey Knight, and the Pendragon 6E RPG Starter Set to the trade (see “’Pendragon 6E RPG Starter Set’”). Now the Gamemaster’s Handbook is coming to retail.

The volume includes guidelines for fine-tuning the game to the desired style, rules for running battles, Arthurian acts, including feasting, tournaments, and courtly intrigue; info on the world of Pendragon and its characters; beasts, spirits, fairies, and fiends; discussions on the use of religion and magic in the game, and two scenarios that can be used to either start or sustain a game.

Pendragon Gamemaster’s Handbook is a full color hardcover; MSRP will be $49.99.
