Ahead of the July release of the Fantastic Four: First Steps film, Marvel is launching Fantastic Four Fanfare, a four-issue anthology miniseries that will collect new stories by well known Fantastic Four creators, including Jonathan Hickman, Mark Waid, Dan Slott, Alan Davis, J. Michael Straczynski, Chip Zdarsky, Mike Allred, and Mark Bagley. The stories are designed to be accessible to old and new readers alike and will focus on the different characters. The first issue will include three stories: Mark Waid and Ramon Rosanas concoct a war of pranks between the Human Torch and the Thing, Alan Davis sets an adventure deep under the earth’s surface, and Andrew Wheeler and Sara Pichelli send the Mole Man to interfere with Johnny Storm’s appearance on a reality show. Fantastic Four Fanfare #1 will be released on May 7, 2025, with a cover by Matteo Scalera.

The Thing will get his own limited series starting in March (see “The Thing Faces a Gallery of Marvel Villains”).

The movie Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated to premiere on July 25, 2025 (see "Movie Calendar 2025").
