Pyramido: Forgotten Treasures invites players to explore the ruins of a tropical jungle in search of long-lost treasures. The ruins are formed in pyramid-fashion by stacking domino-like tiles, with players trying to position matching gems to score points while also managing their own collection of gem tokens.
The game was built on the basis of 2023’s Pyramido, by Pyramdo designer Ikhwan Kwon in collaboration with designer Carl Briere (MATCH 5, Incubation). Fully stand-alone, the new design features new mechanics to open up new strategic options, a new scoring system, and a multi-level solo mode.
Pyramido: Forgotten Treasures includes 90 unique domino-tiles, 63 plastic gemstones, a storage bag, and a score pad. It is intended for one to four players, ages eight and up, and plays in around 45 minutes.
Last year, Synapses launched a renovated version of Hisashi Hayashi’s Yokohama (see “Establish Better Trade Networks in New Version of ‘Yokohama’”).
