DC Comics has announced a new three-issue miniseries, Robin & Batman: Jason Todd, by writer Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen. Lemire and Nguyen collaborated on the creator-owned series Ascender and Descender, from Image Comics, as well as the 2022 miniseries Robin & Batman (see “‘Robin & Batman’”).  Robin & Batman: Jason Todd is set in the early days of the pair’s relationship; Jason Todd is an impulsive young man with a dark past, and as Batman tries to save him from his own inner demons, a new villain appears and sharpens the focus of their struggle.  The first issue will be released on June 11, 2025, with a main cover by Nguyen and variants by Lemire and Nguyen, Rafael Albuquerque, and John McCrea.
