March is officially in "Madness" mode, and Hollywood news is following suit with a flood of fresh news.  Time for a round-up!

The Snow White live action feature is projected to land at around $43 million for its opening weekend box office, according to Deadline; a fairly lackluster start for a film that cost around $270 million to make.  Snow White has been mired in controversies since pre-production: Peter Dinklage's criticism of the seven dwarves story, Rachel Zegler's gaffs, pushed-back release date, and fans trolling the first trailer for the film (see "Trailers Galore").  Ironically, audiences' and reviewers' gripes with the movie, upon release, had little to do with these issues.  The post-release complaints levied against Snow White were primarily about poor continuity (due to the insertion of obvious reshoot footage) and too many creative liberties being taken with the original 1957 storyline.

Scratched Lens Productions released a trailer for Shopping for Superman, a new documentary by Wes Eastin.  This movie traces the 50-year history of local comic book shops, from their very beginnings to modern day, with lots of familiar faces.  It will be available on Blu-Ray in late 2025.  The time seems to be right: ICv2 also recently did an interview series with some of the pioneers of the comics industry to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the comics direct market (see "Comics Direct Market 50th Anniversary") .

Amazon Prime Video revealed that Will Hochman will join the cast of Vought Rising, according to Variety.  This The Boys' prequel series, which takes place in the 1950s (see "'The Boys' Prequel Ordered"), is led by Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront.

DC Studios has added J. Alphonse Nicholson to the cast of Lanterns, according to Deadline.  This will be a recurring role, joining a cast that includes Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, and Kelly MacDonald (see "Casting").

DC Studios is looking toward Colin Farrell to play Sgt. Rock, according to Deadline.  Farrell also recently played the lead role in The Penguin for DC (see "'Penguin' Trailer"), but it is unlikely that these two DC-verse timelines will ever overlap. Daniel Craig recently dropped out of this project (see "'Sgt. Rock'"), leaving room for Farrell to take the role.

Disney is in talks with Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz to write, showrun, and produce a new Power Rangers series, according to The Wrap.  Steinberg and Shotz were the showrunners for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which is headed into Season 2 (see "'Percy Jackson' Renewed").
