This set allows players to build upon their current decks and will feature the debut of new characters in the TCG. It also has 28 newly illustrated cards showcasing characters from Final Fantasy VIII. There will also be an extremely rare Special card for collectors to chase, Terra [27-014H]. The card has a brand-new illustration from Fumio Minagaw and his signature foil-stamped on a card.
The set contains 121 normal cards and 163 premium cards. Each pack comes with 12 cards, and display boxes have 18 packs (see "Square Enix Will Reduce Number of 'Final Fantasy TCG' Packs").
