Penguin Random House Publisher Services and new publisher Ignition Press have signed a multi-year worldwide sales and distribution agreement beginning in September 2025, the companies announced.

Ignition Press co-founder and Publisher Filip Sablik lauded their new distribution partner in a statement accompanying the announcement.  "Penguin Random House is the gold standard of sales and distribution as is reflected no only by their dominant position in the book trade, but their incredible, curated stable of publisher clients," he said.

PRHPS EVP Rachel Goldstein gave it right back.  "The team behind Ignition Press is made up of some of the most talented and respected figures in comics publishing," she said.  "With their impressive slate of creator-driven projects and a clear vision for the future, Ignition is poised to become an important and influential voice in the next chapter of independent comics."

The formation of ignition Press by movie producer Eric Gitter and publishing execs Filip Sablik, Jamie Rich, and Jeremy Haun, was announced last summer (see "Producer Launches Publisher").
