Modiphius recently acquired Hardwar via the purchase of Strato Minis Studio in 2024 (see "Acquires Strato Minis Studio"). In this 6mm-scale miniatures game, players enter the 22nd Century to take control of a private security company, corporate forces, revolutionary rabble, or a marshal protecting farmsteads to engage in Hardware-Warfare. Each faction in the game has a number of different mech-like and vehicle units for players to build their forces around.

The Kickstarter will offer players re-mastered starter sets for the game as well as an updated rulebook. The rulebook has been reformatted to a digest-size book that includes new co-op and solo rules and content that was previously only available on PDF.
