Although Archon declared that Masters of the Universe: Battleground was not coming to North American retail distribution in 2024 (see "Archon Will Not Release 'Masters of the Universe: Battleground'"), it appears that the game line will come to North America in the near future as it has officially hit ACD Distribution's preorder queue. The Masters of the Universe: Battleground - Starter Set offers players everything they need to start playing the miniatures skirmish game. It comes with  miniatures for He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Stratos, Orko, Ram Man, Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Trap Jaw, Mer-Man, and Tri-Klops. The boxed set also contains a game board, rulebook, Battleground book, 10 dice, 2 rulers, 40 terrain accessories, 227 cards, and assorted tokens.

It will retail for $99.00.
