Vault Comics will launch two music tie-ins in July, with Post Malone and Redman. The Redman release, Muddy Waters Too: The Graphic Novel, is inspired by the rapper's 2024 album, which had over 50 million streams. It's created and co-written by Redman (Reginald Noble), co-written by Ben Katzner, with art by Geo Gant, colors by Fred C. Stresing, design by Tim Daniel.
The graphic novel tells the story of Doc, who's invented a special soil that stimulates plants, including weed, to grow at hyper-speed when the right music is played. But Mud has been stolen, and Doc and his crew have to get the invention back despite angry girlfriends and other obstacles.
Vault will also launch Big Rig, their project with Post Malone and Platinum Dunes (see "It’s Post Malone’s Universe") as a comic miniseries in July.
