John Williams of The Topps Company, Inc., told ICv2 at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International that The Lord of the Rings:  Evolution, a new foil series with rare cards featuring characters in different costumes and memorabilia, will be released in the first quarter of 2006.

Topps will also be producing WWE:  Heritage Trading Cards, which will give wrestling cards a 'first class treatment.'  This card set, due in November, will be part of the Sports Heritage Series, complete with autographs, memorabilia and WWE Legends cards (and gum in every pack, of course).
