Variety has reported that the Kellogg Company and Dreamworks Animation have agreed on a multi-year deal starting in 2006. Kellogg will have exclusive worldwide rights to use Dreamworks films and home video releases for themed products with the associated characters in cereals, toaster pastries, cereal bars and fruit-flavored snacks. Kellogg currently markets its products via television, as well as online and in stores in over 180 countries. Additionally, Kellogg has exclusive U.S. rights for similar promotions for pancakes, waffles, cookies and crackers.
