AAA Anime has announced that it has obtained the exclusive distribution rights for Tofu Records in North America, effective September 29th. The exclusive is for the hobby and specialty retail channels. Tofu's roster includes J-pop and J-rock artists L'Arc-en-Ciel, T.M. Revolution, Nami Tamaki, and Asian Kung-Fu Generation, who are known in the States for their soundtrack contributions to anime series such as Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Naruto, and Full Metal Alchemist. AAA plans promotions for retailers, including concert ticket giveaways, promotional merchandise, autographed CDs and posters, and in-store appearances and signings.
