FUNimation Productions has announced the acquisition of the Kimi ga Nozomu Eien anime series, which will be released in the U.S. as Rumbling Hearts. The 14-episode 'mature' high school romance anime from Studio Fantasia will debut in October and will be on a monthly release schedule.
FUNimation is making an effort to put as many of its titles as possible on a monthly schedule with a new volume in a series releasing every 4-5 weeks, which will allow customers to collect an entire six volume series in under six months.
New FUNimation series scheduled for monthly release include: Desert Punk (starting with Vol. #2 in April), Negima, MoonPhase, and Rumbling Hearts. New series to be released on a 7-week schedule include: Speed Grapher, Trinity Blood, and Basilisk.
