ADV Films announced that it has secured North American broadcast and home video rights to the anime comedy series Best Student Council.  The series was created by J.C. Staff (Excel Saga, Maburaho) and is directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Love Hina).

Best Student Council is set in an all-girls school where the student council strategically makes the most of each council member's special ability to keep the school safe from outside (adult) forces.

The series will premiere on the Anime Network; DVDs are also planned for early 2007.
