Marvel is marking the return of the New Mutants with variant covers for several titles. The variants are in recognition of the release of New Mutants: Dead Souls, a six-issue miniseries from Matt Rosenberg (Phoenix: Resurrection, Secret Warriors) and Adam Gorham (Rocket) (see “The New Mutants Return”). The New Mutant Variant Cover Program features artwork by Dan Mora, Declan Shavey, Mike Deodato, and more.

  • Cable #155 by Tyler Kirkham
  • Despicable Deadpool #296 by Declan Shalvey

  • X-Men Gold #23 by Jason Pearson

Retailer ordering requirement: Meet or exceed 100% of orders for previous issue in each respective series, and the variant is order-all-you-want

New Mutants: Dead Souls #1 is in stores on March 14. The miniseries and variants come in advance of The New Mutants feature film, which opens in theaters on April 13 (see "First 'The New Mutants' Trailer"). Marvel is also planning several New Mutants collections for early 2018 (see “'New Mutants' Collection Blitz”).
